“REAL INDIA”

Morning I Wanted to post this, however desist myself not to start with some pessimist mindset.
When earning and improving standard of leaving is what everyone try –for, I am no exception in that also. Professional commitments has allowed me travel across and attracted to meet newer state, culture, tradition, people, vision and hope.

Belonging to a state which probably not marketed well by leaders and still perceived one of poorest state in India where people dies in hunger without food and shelter. My own professional assignment has allowed me to travel across my own state and with my work I always wanted to talk to and observe keenly the reality of that statement published in newspapers.  I was having a feeling that yes my state is really a poor state and it’s a sorry state of affairs where nothing is going to change till this state produce a magnificent leader who can take its people in a journey of Success.
Assignment in different part of India helped me to understand situations exist much closer. Wherever I went and luckily need to do field work so my waiting times spent in observing human characters, studying buying behaviour, discussing with few odd persons those who are open, understanding characteristics of the same place, their ideology their behaviour, their mindset, their vision, their hope. Sadly everywhere, like my own state, situation is same. Rich state or poor, poverty seems to be determined to stay and highly adamant not to go away.

It is said if you want to visualize and want to know real India then go and travel country side to understand it from very close angle. That’s what I wanted to know. If this observation can be extrapolated to entire country the situation by and large will be same with little variation. Richness of any place is confined to few not to Mass. If the same extrapolated to India as a whole statistics says entire country runs by 10 to 15 % of rich business tycoons who always interferes in Govt. decision making for their own benefit.

There might have many philanthropic work taken up by this firms but that’s not sufficient as the project lacks the intention or willingness to provide benefit to mass. It’s like a show business to attract certain category of society to show that their doing a great job.  To understand more one need to travel in sleeper class as-well-as in general class. Cheapest train fair, rough seats and 200 people inside a small coach. Space management must be learn from this by big multinationals how this 200 odd human-being manage their journey and with what plight and even then they wear smile and they throw jokes. They run in stoppages to fill water bottles from Railway water supply, remember no mineral water bottle, though that’s now a day’s availably in plenty, but not in a situation to afford the same. Have food from railway stalls to understand what’s the taste and how they react inside your stomach as food particles start its journey in process of digestion.   Observe agony, observe helplessness, observe idle body just taken rest and in travelling motion till reach destination.
Wait for train and observe how many of this so called poor Indians begging in different styles to attract you for few bucks for survival. Not even worry whether you will give some paisa or will scold them. Not even disturbed at all in anticipation of police who sometimes throw them out mercilessly out of platform till they reunite again to beg.

Come out from platform and watch the adjacent slums keeping thousand of those poor Indians in tent like structures. Come rain the agony mounted but what to do. One has to live in this democratic country.  So called richest state of Indian, Mumbai also have the largest slum in Asia, Dharavi.
So do we grown in last so many years of Independence?  If yes then how. Do understand our literacy percentage has grown; our per capita income has grown and also grown the culture of malls and beautiful Dolby digital cinema halls. Along with also increase the rate and frequency of corruption which is astounding in Indian context.  Sometime corruption amount also surprises us with its magnitude. The amount and person involved force us to think is this amount really required for a person in entire life time? When half of its population is below poverty line and govt has designed 29 rupees for their daily essentials including food, how this theft is happening in Country?  Political system undeterred by resistance, indifferent every time there is any issue on corruption. Apex court of the country started taking its own initiation to find out reasons of this indifference.  CBI, CAG so called independent entities believed to be bugged down with political pressures. Unbelievably so called clean personalities like Railway minister also indulge in practices which was never expected seeing his age and his personality.

Poor India in one side deprived of everything and rich political entity in other hand screwing everything in their way, bureaucracy failed in taking actions and making themselves slaves of their political master’s, taking the situation to some irreversible positions.  Ordinary citizens of this country started have a question mark whether current democratic system is correct for this huge country where everything is in shamble?  Is there any new system we should welcome to make ourselves lesser corrupt? Can we try at-least for 5 years army rule? Can we abolish this multiparty system? Can we absolutely give Supreme Court all the authority to decide for country? What’s that system which can bring back this derailed country? What is that unique proposition which can bring back that sensible imagination in each Countryman? Who is he or she?  Or who are they?  Those can bring discipline, bring vision, bring steps to success, bring energy to system and bring hope to millions and millions those who are exist in what we call “Real India
